The people I follow on this place. They all have the same (or similar) concerns as I do: Government is shit. Makes me happy and sad at the same time. Happy and uplifted that this community exists, sad that this is the fringe of the fringe. Most people will never make it to here, or understand why it is so desperately needed.
It is like we are on a space expedition to establish a new habitat without any chance of going back. We cannot (and want not) bring the others.
It has the potential, provided they are actually buying.
For all of us who are here, real life probably feels like this. Certainly for me. Most people are so far away from joining us.
I don't have any hope of them joining us, but maybe one day we can discuss even the most taboo subjects again with them. I hope so.
Fixed it/edit:
The problem is most living people have never been trained to detect bullshit.
One of the best memes of all time.
So the people who moved to America in the 19th and early 20th century were largely farmers, the unemployed and people generally who couldn't make their way in Europe. It was likely the opposite of the best and the brightest. They did however have sufficient drive to make it to the US.
The people who emigrated to the US later on likely stayed in the cities, as they were not farmers.
Is this not reflected in the elections? The behavior of the farmland people very different from the city people.
If you never listened to Sabaton before, I suggest you do. Start with Steel Commanders, then The Last Stand, then Christmas Truce. And more!
It's on Spotify.
Don't follow anyone matching any of these criteria: plain or full names, face photo pictures, celebrities (incl nostr devs, influencers), repeat meme posters (/engagement farmers), excessive reposters, news (important news will be reposted by others), women (always attention seeking, they can't help it).
They are all more or less trying to get your attention, increase their following, instead of mission of spreading new knowledge and information truth.
Unless of course you are looking for entertainment rather than knowledge.
