How does one find this information? I'm curious!
It is, It's a subject and technology I love discussing but most everyone I know either doesnt care right now and/or dont have a full grasp of what is happening right now financially in the world.

Videos don’t support a standard metadata type like exif data in images, either they don’t have metadata or it is proprietary and deeply encoded, so can’t always guarantee videos..
Photos use a standard exif metadata and yes it is all stripped out.
We do not see or save any metadata from images, videos or anything. nostr:npub137c5pd8gmhhe0njtsgwjgunc5xjr2vmzvglkgqs5sjeh972gqqxqjak37w can confirm this.
In theory Damus or any app could pull this exif data before sending to me, but the api doesn’t do this and I seriously doubt Will does this.
Nostr.build can get basic ip address -> location information, but we don’t monitor or share it..

I believe that nostr.build strips all metadata from the images (and vids?) one uploads, when it generates the hosting link.
Does nostr.build see/store any of that metadata? Or does it get ignored and/or discarded?
What about in the Damus integration to upload within the app nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s ?

I believe in short what is happening is Prime Trust is going bankrupt and bitgo was looking to acquire them. Although, for some reason bitgo has now decided to not go forward with the acquisition.
Considering I think the vast majority of my followers on twitter are bots I dont even bother.
On here though, even though my follower count is relatively low, I'm saying hi to actual people in a community which feels nice and get some interaction back.

I really enjoyed Snort until I ran into the same issues. Not sure what the fix is either.
Primal is my main now although I do see issues where I don't see posts from a few people on my main feed but they show up in other clients. It's a weird issue.
I use iris from time to time but on that one my follower number is not accurate when comparing to other clients.
Sticking with Primal as my main client for now.
