đ thatâs merchandise, ser. but Iâll approve
Iâll take all the luck đ Not sure what your problem is
Fearing that every place will be like China soon only helps it happen. You donât prevent political disaster with fringe technology. Some places will just suck, and you should leave/run or get ready to die for a better future
North Korea sucks even more, but I donât see it used as an example because itâs outside the Overton window

Never did, never will
why is cashu better? because you donât have to sell your BTC. just mint a token and do whatever with it. it can be swapped between mints with ease, so thatâs one less FUD debunked. you wonât use cashu as a bank because it can rug at any time, itâs just a payment layer
maybe you need to pay for a super duper anon service for an infosec task, something like needing to upkeep cryptographic standards.
but for your personal life, i have no idea what youâd use monero for. reminds me of when bitcoin was advertised as anonymous.
there are way too many people living as if Interpol is after them. It bleeds into Bitcoin, and govs use the self-criminalization to KYC everyone

Cashu is cool. You can do neat things with it that isn't possible with Monero, but custodial privacy can't be a replacement for non-custodial privacy. Even Calle the creator has said this.
Not only that, but because users are split up between mints, and even fractured within each mint itself via denominated token pools (1,2,4,8,16,32,etc) it also has a tiny anonymity set in comparison to Monero
Here are a few places to spend Monero if you are genuinely looking:

when I say âplacesâ I mean the real world. Obviously, you can spend a privacy coin in the privacy niche. But what do you get out of it beyond a hobby? đ¤ˇââď¸
places will never take either
a protocol for a client is a template or a reference implementation. we could use more of those. at the moment everything is trying to be a product
satoshi started it, but the idea does not relay and evolve by itself. Everyone paying attention and adding energy is making it happen

bitcoin is more than just money because thinking only about money all the time would get tiresome
itâs about setting in motion an idea thatâll outlast us all

fiat has made it hard to feel gratitude for life. itâs no small thing to rob people of the fruits of their labor. we were born to fix the money, not just to make more people

a few reasons why:
- the technical learning curve to be on here
- the small userbase
- the unburdened ideology
- the lack of topics beyond bitcoin/nostr creates a vacuum that brings in information from elsewhere

information flows into nostr easier than it flows out of it. this is interesting because we are not behind any login wall, yet youâll rarely see screenshots of nostr on other platforms unless someone is shilling their npub
it only took a week:
