Yesterday, we listened to Verdi's "Messa da Requiem” at the Dom, the most impressive cathedral in #Berlin, which is styled in Neo-Renaissance and Baroque architecture.
It is an unusual piece of classical music, notable for its many dissonances and vibrant musical language, allowing one to feel a dialogue concerning despair, sincerity, and redemption.
The pursuit of the divine through music reached a state of perfection. Although I'm not a Christian, I experienced something epiphanic.

The sound of this band reminds me of my younger days, hanging with the artsy friends in the smoke filled place where this kind of music was played on repeat. Strange, good days. 🖤
Three men with huge daddy issues will always want to push through their own narcissistic agenda. The idea of a lean state is as old as the woods. The question is, what will replace (admittedly extreme) bureaucracy and civil rights? Ah yes, an AI. The super-rich have always had an influence on political decisions, but this bought election with all its tentacles of manipulation has shown me that there is not much left to believe in. The idea that the super-rich still think they can do everything better is a delusion because the status quo of the world clearly says the opposite. We are in this mess *because of them.
Could you please explain while looking at the near future? I would appreciate that, as I have some doubts these days.
