One strategy you could use if you have to go back for more is to put wet cardboard on the surface, leave it for a couple days, and see if that concentrates the worms some.
I may also try some molasses in water or dousing some shredded cardboard in molasses water solution to attract them faster.

I like carnivore because it gives me hope we can feed our family and friends and nearby community even in a collapse situation.
No need for extensive gardening and food preservation or grain harvesting.
Not to mention the much better health!
