We are trying to grow our own mushrooms in our garden.

Today we buried some spent mushroom blocks of Lions mane under a full bucket of ash wood chips. We will have to see what happens. I have heard that this can work.

We are adding a fence to our garden this year so that we are not growing our veggies for the ducks and turkeys. They will still be able to get the grasshoppers early without the garden at risk.

We feed them to the chickens, and sell them to other pet owners.

Today we got water pumped into our pond. It is VERY nice to finally be able to irrigate again.

I used a leaf mulcher, but I also hear you can just forse it through 1/4 inch hardware cloth by crusting it in with your feet.

Lots of ways to skin the cat...

Finally achieved my childhood dream life... Playing in the sand box with my best friends after bedtime.

So you mean I should fill it up to start? And the burn it from the top and add move to keep the heat on? I feel that will be difficult because all we are adding is dimensional lumber that stacks to tight.

I start with a 2 foot tall piramid at the bottom now.

Our nearest neighbour is 1 mile away. He joined hast time...

Today we are making another 2 cubit yards of #biochar from construction waste. There barrels are 4 foot wide and 4 foot high. We start the fire at the bottom, and add wood over the next 10 hours. This is great fun when friends and family join for a great time...
