Software developer from Germany. Mostly working with .NET, C#, Ecmascript, Typescript. Has a weakness for technology in general. Talks about himself in third person 🤔

The idea is that in a world with AI that makes human labor mostly superfluous, the people controlling most of this AI will also control most of the resources. And this might be even worse than it is right now.

Yeah, that's a problem I know no good solution for 🤷 There would have to be a global consensus that the wealth created by AI would have to be mostly distributed down to the people. I can't see this in our capitalistic system.

Not, if the world stays as it is. The additional wealth won't be distributed to the people.

Naaah... I'll still go with this

Yeah, we had a Fairphone 3 for her for 350€, but it was broken and we couldn't get a replacement, so we just got the money back.

Fairphone 4 is at least 530€ and I didn't want to pay that much.

So the new phone should be at most 400€ I think.

https://satellite.earth/cdn is the cheapest personal file storage that exists (or at least it looks very cheap) and one that actually makes me want to go there and pay sometimes and not be in constant fear of having an infinite monthly bill.

Where can I see the pricing?

Nice 👍 And thank you. I was wondering what a fork does in this context 😂

Forking a fork keeps the original poster and the original forker in the Zap split tree allowing sats to flow to all contributors.

It doesn't really work like that. There are no individually recognizable "coins" that you could refer to. Instead, it's more like a digital ledger.

Imagine three people (A, B and C) note down on paper how many bitcoin they have. In the beginning, only A and B have 5 Bitcoin each (the miners). They write down "A has 5 BTC, B has 5 BTC, C has 0 BTC".

Now A sells his 5 Bitcoin to B. They write "A has 0 BTC, B has 10 BTC, C has 0 BTC".

Finally B sells 5 BTC to C. Does C now own the 5 BTC that originally came from A or B? You cannot know, as there's no way to differentiate between them.

I'm in need for a good Android phone for my daughter. Any recommendations? #asknostr
