Oh great. Now I can't see the original version anymore. 😣

That's because you don't have any chance to understand the full change and it's consequences of the change exceeds a certain size.

I wouldn't say AI is a scam.

1. Not everything that's called AI is a LLM and a lot of these other AI systems (you could also call them statistical evaluation systems) work quite well in their specific use cases (like engine optimization in probably every modern car).

2. Yes, LLMs have some pretty bad properties, like hallucinating things. But on the other side is the first time that there's a computational model that you can actually "talk" with about whatever you like and it will answer in full sentences and with plausible content (even though not correct everytime).

Would I use them in critical use cases right now? No. But nevertheless they somehow work and we have probably not seen the worlds best or most efficient versions of LLMs yet.

Yeah, I think all Mario Kart games where great, although the last one (MK8) lost a bit.

I also never was a fan of racing games, but F-Zero was really special. When I played the game for the first time, it was like maybe 5 seconds and I was game over 😂

With the second try, I got 10 seconds, then 20 and after some tries, I could already run for a whole round without falling down the track or exploding my ship. It had an extremely steep learning curve that made you feel *woah*

Sounds nice, but 20TB would be 5000$/month if I calculated that correctly 😬

Where to host an encrypted 20TB offsite backup with a low budget? #asknostr
