welcome aboard! there is a lot to figure out on nostr, as it is a chaotic development space with lots of competing visions. up to this point, there hasn't been a serious effort to create an algorithm driven feed, as many early users were proponents of using a follows only feed.
https://nostr.thecaptain.dev is my proof of concept for a new experience that dispenses with follows entirely, in favor of smaller communities and algorithmic discovery. I hope you get a chance to check it out and discover that there is much more to nostr than the bitcoin echo chamber!
