Many of us have suffered in different ways growing up but I can. not. imagine what she (and many others) went through, or are living with. It’s hard enough just to get enough sleep ina “normal” life. I have brothers who suffer with nightmares constantly. The list goes on.

One thing for sure is that justice will be served. Perhaps not today but in time or some future block. I thank God for his grace because I would not be alive today without it. 100% I would already been guilty of murdering at least one pedophile I knew as a kid growing up. Also an abusive stepdad, so I’m familiar with cold anger that can run deep. With the Lord though I know justice will be served, and I fear Him, not man. I’m thankful he can carry the burdens because I can’t and won’t.

With that, my will would be to see justice served quickly on these evil blackhearted ones who say anything and smile while they plot murder and worse. The noose would be appropriate but too swift. Ahem I digress.

I love it that no one needs permission to post anything they want on nostr. May it grow large and decentralized. May it be a beacon of hope in the social media wasteland that many hate. March in nostr sister, post whatever you wish without permission!

What is the beginning of wisdom? It is owning and accepting that we are forgetful. We forget where our identity lies. It is understanding my hope is not found in *my* knowledge.

It is understanding that my identity is not found in material possessions.

It is fully owning that my identity is not rooted in my relationships: not my wife, not my children.

I understand that my identity is not in my works or my excellence or my *perfect* tendencies. Notice how many times the word “my” is used in that last sentence.

I’ll make the confession, I have identity amnesia. Many of us forget what or who our identity is in. I didn’t do the work on the cross, Jesus did. It is His glory and his alone. “My” works don’t do anything except puff me up.

With that, here’s some beautiful verses from Psalm 27 to help you (especially in times of trouble) remember who your identity is in:

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell.

Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.

Trevor I’ve always been endurance minded, not bulk. Swimming, cardio followed by some weights but mostly pushups, pull-ups, abs. Mostly I’ve slacked in later years. 😆

With that said, I aim for 3x/week schedule,

day 1 - cardio (30 minutes, 9 or 10 incline on treadmill), followed by lots of leg and lower back stretches followed, by core stuff, planks, etc., followed by some pull-ups or pushups or whatever muscle groups I’m targeting.

Day 2 is same except I go with different muscle groups.

Currently day 3 is on the ice rink for 2 hours of cardio playing hockey with the 40+ mens. Cant beat $16 of ice time for 2 hours. Hydration is huge. Creatine and electrolytes currently, probably should fine tune tho.

I always say “nothing like Dad making made to order omelettes with farm fresh eggs” Of course I trained my kids to say it! 😛 (also homemade bread with local raw honey) 😋
