Is there a way of making messages collapse/hide/fold if I see a subconversation is going nowhere, like hidding a whole branch?
It woudl be very helpful to have an interface like the one of hacker news, to navigate thru the maze of conversations. Here is a sample of what im talking about, where you can just click "-" to hide a sub branch of a topic, or click "parent" to go to the post which initiated everything:

Talvez sejam 20% querendo cancelar, 50% querendo saber se pode confiar ou nao, e talvez 30% querendo transparencia.
Se eu visse como voce, que 100% quer cancelar, tambem chegaria a mesma conclusao que voce.
Mas, como nao vejo issso, nao chego a mesma conclusao.
E me diga uma coisa: Nas eleicoes as alternativas realistas eram:
1) Votar no L
2) Votar no Bolsonaro
3) Votar em um outro que perderia
4) Votar em brinco e deixar os eleitoes de 1) ou 2) ganharem
Na sua teoria ai, parece que voce votaria no 4), deixando que 1) ou 2) decidam.
Eu votei em 2), e acho que esta menos longe dos meus ideiais do que 1). Se tivesse outro melhor eu votava, mas nao tinha.

Fato e que ele criou a lei de liberdade economica, baixou o tempo de criacao de empresas, ajudou a fazer o marco do saneamento, deixou a imprensa falar mal dele a vontade (ele xingava e ficava puto, mas nunca fez igual ao Lula de querer censurar a livre expressao), e em 24 de Fevereiro de 2021 assinou a lei de independencia do BC, alem de ter pregado, durante o covid, que liberdade era mais importante que a ciencia. O oposto do Estado controlador.

Actually there are many similar ideas on communism and libertarian. They all want to be free from great powers.
There you have both of them onboard.
But later the socialist creates a even greater power, the huge totalitarian State, to destroy the initial power... But then gets swallowed by it.
The libertarians wants free market so that free market competition itself will destroy the big powers, letting the individuals alone.
That's where you cannot have both theories at your side.
