After listening to The Blocksize War I looked you up and listened to every read I could find until it really got a bit too outdated. Been my favorite podcast ever since haha I get all grumpy when I have to do menial tasks and there's no new content.
I'm curious Guy, what's YOUR favorite podcast?
Don't send here thox bots will get it. DM to make sure the intended recipient gets it

That smoked meat looks really sweet, but I know it ain't from Smoke Meat Pete's, so while that meat may be a treat, it still can't ever beat Pete's meat
Looks great actually, cheers
With climate change bringing more extreme weather, expert says energy efficiency is a must

Hey Doc, question for you.
When you say "expert", what do you mean exactly? Expert in what? And what makes him an expert?
Lol that sounds like you came into the madhouse to study the crazies
Careful tho, I feel like people here are so nice and interesting and helpful, before you know it you might find yourself greeting some other journalist that came here to study you too hahaha welcome, welcome
This thing

One of those tiny but incredibly functional and spacious utility vans that they have in places like Korea. Don't know what make or model they are but they look so practical
That's amazing. Cheers man.
I paid for a friend's Starbucks drink in el Salvador a few months ago all the way from Canada, there's something about paying for a physical thing instantly from thousands of miles away in a different country that just makes so hopeful for the future. Or that it is the future. So cool
Me neither entirely, but just the fact that there are no liquidity concerns is just so nice, so refreshing, and idk it seems easier to move around than lightning payments, you can send it via any communication network, it's got a lot of cool shit going for it.
Thanks for helping me with it btw haha I've done every experiment I can think of
There are so many traders in Bitcoin just trying to make a quick buck, normal people who have been in tradfi their whole lives, who are keeping the price floating in a narrow band. It will take some time for the ETF people to run up against the wall of psychopaths who won't sell at any price (that's my peeps right there) and at that point they'll only be able to buy up the marginal supply being mined each day. That's when the price will start to climb.
The longer this takes the better for parabolic jumps, because the longer it takes, the closer it will be to the halving.
Historically, this explains why it takes time after the Halving for the crazy jumps to happen. The marginal supply gets cut in half, but the total supply is still quite big since not everyone is a hodler. But slowly slowly more and more Bitcoin comes into the hands of true holders.
This time, the demand jump is already eating away at the total supply, slowly slowly, but by the time the marginal supply gets cut in half there will barely be any left on the trading floor.
Then, factor in the inevitable QE and it really looks like this year all the domino pieces are lining up.
And then...

Does it mean everyone living there will die by 2050?
Extreme heat is pushing India to the brink of ‘survivability.’ One obvious solution is also a big part of the problem
By 2050, India will be among the first places where temperatures will cross survivability limits, according to climate experts. And within that time frame, the demand for air conditioners (AC) in the country is also expected to rise nine-fold, outpacing all other appliances, according to a recent report by the International Energy Agency (IEA).

Hey doc, just wondering, how is "survivability" defined. Is it a specific temperature?
You can block pretty much anything on Amethyst, and also nostr is in its very early infancy.
As more people join, relay runners will want to attract different kinds of crowds and it will become easier to identify relays that permit nsfw content and avoid them. Relay management will probably be built in in more seamless ways so you can hit a button and disconnect from all nsfw tolerant relays.
If you don't want to give it time to mature and use these features in the future when someone else builds it, build it yourself! Open protocol, free country. I hope you do, I'd like to see this. I'm just also good to wait on it, but I'm sure it will come.
I'm apparently hitting my limits on nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm lightning wallet 😅
Switching things over to my btcpay. Its a tad more delayed than Alby is with invoices, but I move most of my sats over there (or to phoenix) anyway. I mostly stayed with Alby while i was going through and testing 6ish different custodial LN address options, and I liked that the Nostr login (the extension) and wallet were in the same interface.
Didn't think about the fact that they would have limits. But if there was one, I was bound to find it 😆

Any way to send you sats on Cashu?
I mean, I know I can just DM you some ecash anytime but, are you using Cashu?
Every time I think something about Bitcoin is beyond my reach for being too technical or requiring too much effort or whatever insecurity I have, I am swiftly proven wrong upon actually attempting it.
The tools are getting veeery close to "let's onboard Grandma" level.
Guys... It's working
