Would be cool to see it "unroll" threads though... maybe an #unroll tagged reply could be a neat feature to covert a string of reply notes to longform content. But not sure that is a priority for npub.pro

This is so true. We went crib -> Twin-size bunk beds -> full size. I still find my oldest bunking in my youngest daughter's room. I think that deep in our souls, sleeping is a communal act, something which has been lost in modernity. Although sleeping alone does provide me the most vivid dreams.
Shitcoins fail for a multitude of the same, inevitable reasons (they are scams). I still take it as a positive that Trump has a clear interest to create a permissive environment for shitcoins, which inevitably fail with value flowing towards bitcoin. Noone, not even a demagogue or central bank, can make a shitcoin work.
Would most nostriches accept bitcoin as a central source of truth? I know nostr:npub132w0sg64x08h2klxvytsamgcu63qqmk8d2yv8ltay8nvzwahk6wsyg2j8n 's nip-69 was much hated for its "Damus+" roll out and reliance on Stacks/BNS. I know many are skeptical of the use of oridinals, but it seems inevitable that we will use the bitocin timechain as a central source of truth for identity in some form. Saylor is certainly thinking of this in the corporate space. Just b/c ordinals has many dumb use cases doesn't meen that this couldn't be a good one. I'm sure a pure bitcoin only naming protocol could be made using UTXOs but it would be an expensive, unscalable path for nostr long-term. And nip-05 is very authoritarian- and centralized entity- sensitive. For example, if Github blocked github-pages, then quite a few nip05s would go offline.

As someone who grew up in the American South, the Confederate, Dixie, or Rebel flag represents many different ideas to people. The most common is rebelling against the government. Racism isn't subtle in the South, you don't need to hang the Southern Cross to express your racism as you can do it quite openly and vocally without much recourse; however, Northerners will always see the Confederate flag and think: "racist flag".
Racism is quite common in the south, which is why I left, but I still dislike federal and state government overreach. I think libertarian "Don't tread on me" symbolism has replaced the Dixie flag in most of the country for expressing scepticism of central control. The government will always try to paint any rebellious symbolism as subversive; see the sceptical looks of your liberal neighbors for flying an American flag.
It does not surprise me that someone would find the ideas of rebelling against the government AND sexuality norms as good bedfellows.
