Yerba Mate πŸ§‰ is a great tool to support intermittent fasting. Coffee always drives my body to anabolic processes while mate triggers catabolic state. Traditionally, mate is sipped through a straw with a spoon called a bombadilla. The fine particulate matter of mate may irritate your throat, though.

I wrap my bombadilla in a cotton spice bag which helps to filter the mate.

I would love to do it. I grew up in Arkansas and we visited Blanchard Springs cave on a school trip. It stuck with me, the sound and energy of the place.
