The harder you squeeze it, the more it goes up. It’s just nature taking it’s course. 😁
It’s funny because it’s true.
Yeah, all of these organizations either completely lose the plot and don’t understand who their supporters are or they are corrupted and serve another master loosing sight of what the organization was created to do. Either way, any free thinking person becomes jaded and skeptical of anyone claiming to do good.
Apparently there was an alternative.
Definitely shit it down first to make sure it picks up a new IP address from the new router.
You need to link a lightning wallet to your nostr profile. How depends on which client you are using.
My ASICS can confirm.

Me: The right letters aren’t even in there for her to think that.

I will give this some thought and see what I can do for prototype / proof of concept for you to play with. What base operating system for the machine?
Free. You only pay for priority support, enterprise features, etc.
How much CPU and Memory? I have some hardware and large SSD I could setup. I could create redundant backups, etc. I think it would be cool to have Bitcoin nodes and Nostr relays running like this.
I am a hardware and network guy and don’t write code. Does this type of setup make sense to you? Obviously there would be trust involved if I have physical access to the server. Also, the only backup would be rack mount battery, so while not common, downtime would be possible.
I’ve been thinking about these types of scenarios. I have access to fiber at one of our mining locations. I’m wondering if it would be possible to setup an affordable plebnet? This would also promote more decentralization for Bitcoin nodes, Nostr relays, etc. How much data per month?
