Does anyone use breez to send zaps and find it to be slow? Is there any tricks to getting the speed of payments increase?
I'm shocked and not surprised at the same time at the level of misunderstanding people have about how economies work. I think a big reason for this is due to how far removed people are from observing economics as seen in nature.
BSV supporter boasting about attacking bitcoin with worthless jpegs

This guy has no idea what he's talking about. Plus, inscriptions are expensive transactions so if it is an actual coordinated attack it's unsustainable.
Woke up in the middle of the night, checked mempool, plugged in bitcoin miner. Bitcoin mining is transaction fee insurance. Also, life is weird.
There's a reason why bitcoiners aren't concerned about transaction fees when buying coffee, they buy enough coffee in bulk, from a local pleb of course, and make it themselves. Well worth the fees paid.

Listen closely to what's going on here with Nostr. Bitcoin is on its path of succession and we are at the forefront.
Looking forward to checking this out.
That's why I'm trying to measure my water usage. To find the sweet spot with storage and when rain will refill. I will always have the well as the backup. Now with Bitcoin miners, I might be able to find a way to keep the water from freezing above ground in the winter too. The rain water system is something that can be expanded slowly over time. If you can afford to drill a well it's the more sure bet for water security though.
Having a well and few solar panels will offer lots of resilience for sure. I want to switch to rainwater as my primary source because the well water I have is very hard. Would rather clean up the rainwater. As far as woo woo stuff goes, I think rainwater has better energetic properties to it as well.
If the shtf stuff is in use then there is less to do when you run drills with the backup plans.

GM. The wood for more window casings in the tiny house is cut and finished. Today, it's time to assemble and install!
Water filters are also good to have in shtf situations. Berkey are totally passive so all you need is the water and the filter will work.
If you buy a nice filter like a Berkey or a reverse osmosis system (what I use) then you will have some skin in the game plus you'll be drinking better water.
Lately I've been drinking coffee with maple syrup, milk, and collagen powder. I'm writing my daily log, recording all the events from the previous day as well as weather, water usage, and what I ate. Water usage is so I can get a yearly average to determine how much water storage I need for when I put a metal roof in the house. Planning to switch to 100 percent rain water.
Regular.
Installing window casing and trim in tiny house loft

Back at it again today working on the tiny house. Feels good to actually get something fastened up. So much time is spent cutting, sanding, and staining all the trim, it almost seems too easy when it actually goes in. Walls are birch plywood with linseed oil and wax finish, rough sawn cherry finished with tung oil for the window casing and trim, reclaimed pine finished with iron acetate and wax for the beam. Floors an ceiling are t+g pine car siding finished with linseed oil and many coats of polyurethane (Polished with automotive compound). I've got rough sawn ash I'm going to work in somewhere too. Just trying to use up what I have laying around.

Sold our ram for Bitcoin

Every year or two the Katahdin rams get rotated out for fresh genetics. This keeps the gene pool of our small flock diverse and allows us to keep our best ewes.

This year it was time to move our ram Yakul on to another homestead. Thankfully, we met his new owners from attending Bitcoin meetups and were able to sell the ram for Bitcoin.

Helping others in the community to build their living capital creates more resilience in the whole. The longer I participate in the Bitcoin network the more I see it as not only money but as a foundation for cultural development. This new culture that is being built on Bitcoin needs to be equipped with a diverse balance of capital (in regards to the 8 forms). To be sovereign this capital is a requirement and a culture compromised of individuals striving for this sovereignty creates an incentive for cooperation.

I was shocked to find out how many herbs are good for smoking. I used to smoke tobacco and these herbal smoke blends really scratch the itch sometimes. Sometimes I roll them up without any cannabis just to blow some smoke.
I don't know about the legality of shipping the seeds to other countries. If there is enough demand from somewhere like Canada I would look into it.
Thanks for the props! I share what I'm doing to inspire and showcase the effectiveness of Permaculture. Your feedback let's me know that should keep sharing!
I hear that, I like to make herbal spliffs with mullien and raspberry leaf to get a more mild effect from the cannabis.
