In case you had channels with lnd2.blink.sv

Happy birthday White paper

I wish you were right but some points against:

- every cycle people say its different

- bitcoin is doing always the opposite we think it will do

- some whales are already dumping BTC for ETH and after ETH it will be other s...t coins they know how to make money

But again I wish you were right :)

Ethiopia big power outage today miners down :(

Im always buying a few euro worth of sats for my friends children birthday. They love to reedem to their #blink wallet. Awesom technology.

How do you deal with invoices on your node? My invoices are mixed up with the rebalances. I was thinking of doing sub-accounts in lnbits that I would be using for my payments. #node #umbrel #lightning #question

With #Zeus? Yes, its a great piece of software and much more than juts a wallet :) the node itself is another toppic 🤣

Trezor ONE and Trezor T again on 50% discount. I have to buy again so have for friends on cas someone gets orange pilled 🥰

#trezor #BTC

So many supposed bitcoiners advocating for #TARDFI such these BTC ETFs and other companies who are marketing themselves as Bitcoin Treasury companies! It's not only super disappointing but at times completely overwhelming! You look at X and you see how pervasive the attempts to frame the narrative that #tradfi = #bitcoin... Especially MSTR, the ETFs and now these bitcoin treasury companies. What a bunch of 💩! It blows my mind because only a few out of the hundreds of these companies even publicly post their L1 #bitcoin addresses like Bitwise, Metaplanet and maybe a few others!

And not to mention that while posting their L1 addresses is certainly better than not, this still in no way makes shares in these companies #bitcoin whatsoever. There's no way to confirm the amount of shares independently, no way (that I'm aware of) to take custody of the actual shares in these firms, and no way as an individual to redeem these shares for the supposed BTC they claim to hold, and these firms are storing their #bitcoin with the same #tradfi sponsored centralized exchanges who have an obligation to do their best to subvert btc to the dollar by using all the historically effective tactics available to them such as commingling and rehypothecating them. Not only all that, but then there's the whole counterparty risk aspect too!

To me Bitcoin is and always has been a revolution to surmount fiat and #tradfi, not to compliment it! And while I know I'm likely preaching to the choir here, but self custody #Bitcoin is the only option for people that are not only seeking their freedom, but the freedom of all from the fiat currency printers who have captured and now control all of our governments.

Ultimately there's self custody #bitcoin, and everything else is a form of fiat. Fortunately we can collectively change everything as long as enough understand how and why to DCA #bitcoin into self custody regardless of the fiat price. Chose wisely, chose freedom, choose self custody #btc and chose to be free!

Im in bitcoin and also in #IBIT , for me IBIT was due to tax reasons in our country I would have to pay 40% tax end of the day from crypto but after holding 1 year IBIT im tax free. And yes I have to sell the IBIT portion becase I was borrowing for it so to pay it down later I have to sell. And one more advantage of IBIT there will be an option to borrow against it with a low interest rate.

Bitcoin is helping not only bitoiners but also #tradfi people. #firefish is connection #BTC world with tradfi. Where else can tradfi people earn 11-12% interest with almost no risk?

https://reclaimthenet.org/russia-blocks-voice-calls-on-whatsapp-and-telegram

Russia just blocked voice calls on WhatsApp and Telegram.

Notice how this is happening now, after a decade of war invading Ukraine. The latest in a long list of Russian invasions.

Russia doesn't need to hide the realities of the war from its population: Russian culture is all for theft, rape, and murder. It's a popular war. Hell, Russian telegram is full of Russian units bragging about their drone strikes on Ukrainian civilians.

What Russia needs to hide is the fact that they're gradually losing. Just this year Ukraine estimates that military strikes on the Russian economy have already cost them 4% of GDP. Not enough. But combined with all the other costs of war, their economy is in bad shape and there is no path to things getting better without coercing Ukraine into surrender.

_That_ is what Russians care about. And we need to be doing a lot more to destroy Russia's economy and impoverish that psychopathic society. Killing Russians and blowing up their infrastructure means they can't kill you.

I wonder they didnt do it sooner

I did something really cool with Bitcoin this week!

I sent more than 700 payments (to over 700 different individuals) across 8 different African countries in less than 40 minutes.

To do this I used the nostr:nprofile1qqsglefmxagcu0d7nw4jdkgj9ysqrk9cst0fg44hkz9kzhu39hyt7jsh9lfqf batch-payments feature.

Here's a guide:

https://bitcoinekasi.com/2025/08/03/the-complete-beginners-guide-to-blink-batch-payments/

No red tape, no forms, no documents, no permission needed from anyone.

All in all, precisely 2,100 sats were sent to each person, 778 people in total, spread out across the African continent.

That's a total 1,619,100 sats split between more than 700 people across eight different countries. With the entire process taking about 35 minutes. From beginning to end.

Oh. And and the transaction fees were practically zero. It cost basically nothing to do this. No banking fees. No commissions. No cut for the middle man.

Yes, it is custodial.

But.

Imagine trying to do this with the fractured fiat banking system.... ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️

This is all part of our ongoing efforts to help build Bitcoin circular economies across the continent, supported by Bitcoin Beach.

The recipients were selected by asking project leaders from more than 20 different African Bitcoin Circular Economy projects to collect wallet usernames for merchants, staff and project volunteers.

Herewith a breakdown of those projects and the number of recipients within each project:

Bitcoin Ekasi 🇿🇦 South Africa – 84

Bitcoin El Zera 🇿🇦 South Africa - 71

Bitcoin Githurai 🇰🇪 Kenya - 10

Bitcoin Ubuntu 🇿🇦 South Africa - 16

Bitcoin Kampala 🇺🇬 Uganda - 27

Orphans of Uganda 🇺🇬 Uganda - 36

Soweto Btc 🇿🇦 South Africa - 21

Bitcoin Loxion 🇿🇦 South Africa - 13

Bitcoin Dua 🇬🇭 Ghana - 40

Bitcoin Babies 🇰🇪 Kenya - 14

Afribit Kibera 🇰🇪 Kenya - 97

Bitcoin Karoo 🇿🇦 South Africa - 24

Bitcoin Anambra 🇳🇬 Nigeria - 19

Bitcoin Calbar 🇳🇬 Nigeria - 63

BTC PLETT 🇿🇦 South Africa - 44

Bitcoin Sisonke 🇿🇦 South Africa - 11

BTC Shule 🇧🇮 Burundi - 13

Bitcoin Arusha 🇹🇿 Tanzania - 23

Bitcoin Witsand 🇿🇦 South Africa - 23

Bitcoin Chama 🇰🇪 Kenya - 12

Bitcoin Vitcoria Falls 🇿🇲 Zambia - 117

And all i needed were wallet usernames. No proof of address, no ID documents. I didn't even need to know their real names.

Insanely cool! I absolutely love Bitcoin!

I had to test the dashboard imediatelly awesom!!!

= What happens if ZEUS is removed from Google Play? =

If ZEUS is removed from Google Play, the app will remain on your device, but you will be unable to install updates, until you uninstall and reinstall from a different source.

If switching to another source, you'll have to restore your wallet from seed, and/or reconnect to your remote nodes.

= How to back up your seed and wallet configs =

To back up your embedded wallet (node in the phone) seed, go to Menu > Back up wallet.

To backup and restore your remote wallet connections, go to Menu > Tools > Import/Export Wallet Configurations

Already have, and just love it even sometimes it scares the hell out of me when something goes wrong :) but having the keys from my bitcoin is priceless!

Dont think being rich will solve your cash problems: Many high-net-worth families experience financial stress because of a lack of immediate access to their assets.

Okey thats a toppic Im not to familiar with as Im based in EU. But cant you use VPN? And or if you have android download APK from github?

Actually moon wallet is okey for larger ammounts but the fees are high. I would recommend rather to use something for lightning like WoF or Blink and for onchain a hardware wallet. But you have your own node so just use that with zeus.
