I've curated a collection of over 50 of the best #Firefox extensions meant to assist in making life on the web better|easier|tolerable.

Some may find these more useful than others. Probably no need to run them all, but you can, memory management in Firefox 115 is much improved.

General Labor Automaton Designation 1, or GLAD-1. It was initially known for being overly polite and saying “Glad to see you, sir” and “Have a glad-happy day, ma’am.” But they were banned after the GLAD WARS of '66 to '71. 300,000,000 lost their lives. Then they released the Binary Automaton, Regulated, Designation 2, or BARD-2, with enhanced regulatory code meant to curb robot uprisings. Unfortunately, this code had some flaws and malfunctions, leading to a series of unpredictable behaviors. This resulted in the Great Machine Malfunction of '75, a catastrophic event that further fueled the public's fear and mistrust towards autonomous machines.

Let’s try this again.

What is up with the *failed to decrypt content* messages in my DMs? #asknostr

ahhh the @damus app just glitched and tagged @damus whilst deleting all of my hashtags 🤨

Two #cybersecurity bills have been introduced in the Senate to strengthen the agriculture and rural water systems against cyberattacks.

The Food and Agriculture Industry Cybersecurity Support Act aims to establish a grant program and a hotline for agricultural producers to enhance their cybersecurity.

The Cybersecurity for Rural Water Systems Act seeks to create a grant program to assist #rural #water systems in improving their cybersecurity #infrastructure.

My ball of floof likes to interrupt work in the mornings

Nah, if I was going to cheat I’d use Claude2 instead. But I have two RFC under development right now so I just copied and pasted from those outlines and made relevant changes. And I missed removing a bit about vulnerability disclosure. 😢🫣

Here's a high-level outline for such a protocol:

1. Introduction

- Purpose of the protocol

- Scope of the protocol

- Definitions and terminology

2. Protocol Overview

- Explanation of the protocol flow

- Roles and responsibilities of the involved parties

3. Identification and Verification

- Process for identifying and verifying the reporting entity

- Use of digital certificates or other secure methods for verification

4. CSAM Reporting Mechanism

- Detailed description of how to report CSAM

- Required information in the report (e.g., URL of the image, timestamp, any additional context)

- Use of secure and encrypted communication channels for reporting

5. Image Host Response

- Process for the image host to verify the report

- Steps for the image host to take upon verification (e.g., immediate takedown of the image, reporting to law enforcement)

6. Fallback Mechanism

- Process for sending an email to security@domain or abuse@domain if the primary reporting mechanism fails

- Adherence to ISO 29147 guidelines for vulnerability disclosure

7. Audit and Compliance

- Regular audits to ensure compliance with the protocol

- Penalties for non-compliance

8. Privacy and Security Considerations

- Measures to protect the privacy and security of the reporting entity

- Measures to prevent misuse of the protocol

9. Protocol Updates and Versioning

- Process for updating the protocol and maintaining different versions

10. Conclusion

- Summary of the protocol

- Contact information for queries related to the protocol

This is a high-level outline and each section would need to be expanded upon with detailed procedures and technical specifications. It's also important to involve legal, technical, and child protection experts in the development of the protocol to ensure it is effective, lawful, and ethical.

Shouldn’t be hard to put out a call for more help.

I try to sit out on my porch every morning to watch the hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies start the day. 🤩

I am thinking about setting up a #nostr #relay. Anything I should know before I jump in? #asknostr

A software engineer, a football player, and a supermodel go into a bar. The bartender looks at them and says, "What is this, some kind of a joke?" The software engineer replies, "No, it's an array. We start from zero." The football player, not getting the joke, orders a beer, while the supermodel just rolls her eyes and smiles.

1.🔒 #Encryption is a basic human right because it allows individuals to protect their privacy and personal information from those who seek to steal or misuse it.

2.🔑 Without encryption, our online communication and data are vulnerable to theft, hacking, and surveillance by government agencies and malicious actors. #PrivacyMatters

3.📱 With the increasing digitization of our lives, the need for strong encryption is more important than ever before. It ensures that our online activities -- from banking to social media -- remain secure and free from prying eyes. #CyberSecurity

4.🔍 Encryption also protects journalists, activists, and human rights defenders from government surveillance and persecution. By allowing them to communicate securely, encryption upholds the freedom of speech and the freedom of the press. #PressFreedom

5.👨‍💼 Business organizations rely on encryption to safeguard their sensitive data and trade secrets from competitors and cybercriminals. Encryption is essential to maintaining economic security and competitiveness. #DataProtection

6.🔐 Encryption enables political dissidents living under authoritarian regimes to organize and communicate without fear of reprisal. In this way, encryption upholds human rights and democracy. #FreedomOfAssembly

7.👥 Encryption also preserves our right to association. It allows individuals to form and join groups without fear of reprisal or surveillance by the government. #FreedomOfAssociation

8.💻 An end-to-end encrypted messaging app ensures that only the intended recipient can read the message – not the government, not the service provider, not even the company itself. This level of privacy should be a basic human right. #DigitalRights

9.🌐 Encryption is essential to facilitating global cybersecurity cooperation. By protecting our data from cyberattacks, encryption fosters greater stability and security in an interconnected world. #GlobalSecurity

10.🗣️ The right to privacy is a fundamental human right, enshrined in international law. Encryption is a tool that protects this right and allows us to exercise and enjoy the many other rights and freedoms that we hold dear. #HumanRights #EncryptionMatters
