Was talking to traveler Jeff at btcPrague, about the future and how a lot of us are going to have to fade into the woodwork or become targets.
He's the first Bitcoiner that I've talked to that acknowledges that risk. Forever grateful to have met him and his wife and connected with someone that understands the same things. Was great bouncing ideas off of each other. I'll post his npub in the comments give him a follow and don't be shy to strike up a conversation with him. Really great guy.

You know... The more I think about it, one of the reasons that people won't buy Bitcoin is they can't handle being wrong. Sure, they see that #bitcoin continually makes higher highs, but you have to go through the phases of it going lower. It reminds me of the story of the guy that bought $20 worth of Bitcoin but had to sell when the value dropped to $15.
Wasn't destitute. Didn't need the $5. Just couldn't handle having to say out loud that while he's down right now, it'll be fine in the long run. No conviction. If you don't have an understanding of what you're buying... Bitcoin makes you look like retarded most of the time. "Gains are made 10 days out of the year."
In other words, "you look like an idiot 355 days of the year."
Just talk to people. You'll realize most of their egos can't handle being "wrong" that long.

Had a meetup with OPA while in Prague. Man it's refreshing to meet other bitcoiners in real life. Since I'm surrounded by no-coiners back home it's actually nice to talk to people that GET it!

Got lucky as hell... The storm blew right past the east of us. Sadly some of towns that way got hit. Tornado touched down as well.
