Is there anywhere that says how many active users are on nostr? It reminds me of earlier bsky and I worry a bit about it going in a similar kind of way if it hits the point of mass adoption, but I dunno

They don't work as expected, because once events are in your device those filters do not apply. The original idea is, that certain types of events will be pulled/pushed to those relays.

The icons are: events from followers, direct messages, user info, global and search.

Be firm and strict. Tell him what behavior is unacceptable for you and why. If he doesn't correct it in timely manner get rid of him. Never compromise, that only leads to disappointment on both sides... To the other hand accept that they are only men, and don't expect miracles.

My wife and I were just talking about this. I think we need to distinguish between the circumcision of the Old Covenant and prepucectomy, what we nowadays incorrectly call circumcision.

Modern circumcision prematurely separates the skin covering the glans and removes the whole thing, rather than a trimming that left the glans covered.

I think we as a Christian culture ought to be able to condemn prepucectomy while remembering honorably the sign of the old covenant.

Non-consensual genital mutilation is a world wide problem. Unless there is an acute medical issue, it is always barbaric, it doesn't matter how much or how little do they take.
