I took the top cover off and had a look inside. Not much to it really. Control board and stepper motors.

For the research I’ve done, I can’t trust it for any large amount of funds when it’s a machine that we are sharing.

I listened to the creators of it on this podcast https://fountain.fm/episode/i0uQ6z4CmN3rdGcsQaHx

I like the idea that Stephan suggested about the software having an option to engrave only the multisig wallet descriptor. That way your seed is never exposed to the machine. The descriptor is the hardest part to backup anyway.

That way you could backup your seed separately (which is easy to do and their are many options) and use the engraver to backup the descriptor which I don’t know of any other way to do as easily as this.

I was hoping to get the machine to nostr:npub1dqepr0g4t3ahvnjtnxazvws4rkqjpxl854n29wcew8wph0fmw90qlsmmgt next as he hasn’t had it yet. But maybe it can go back to him via you if you want to play around with it. It’s just sitting in my garage now.

Giving @Nostur a try. Seems like a good client for managing multiple accounts on #iOS.

The fact that you can buy 100 million sats for $41,000 USD right now seems ridiculously cheap to me.

What a time to be alive!

Looking forward to this. If the pub WiFi behaves we’ll be doing a pub Bitcoin quiz with great prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

In my pre-bitcoin days, around 2006 nostr:npub13ql75nq8rldygpkjke47y893akh5tglqtqzs6cspancaxktthsusvfqcg7 played a song on is show, The Daily Sourcecode, from an album I’d recorded in 1999. It was a big moment for me, to hear my song introduced and played on his podcast. It helped me understand the revolutionary nature of podcasting and ultimately led me to Bitcoin.

A few weeks ago I uploaded that same album to nostr:npub1yfg0d955c2jrj2080ew7pa4xrtj7x7s7umt28wh0zurwmxgpyj9shwv6vg and was amazed when Adam picked up another one of the songs, and played it on his new show The Boostagram Ball episode 15.

The sats flowed.

Thanks for everything you do Adam. Keep pushing the boundaries.

Really loving nostr:npub1yfg0d955c2jrj2080ew7pa4xrtj7x7s7umt28wh0zurwmxgpyj9shwv6vg.

A few weeks ago I secretly uploaded an album I recorded years ago, and had an amazing surprise as a result. I’ll reveal more about that soon.

I’ve just uploaded this track by my amazing band Chamberlain that unfortunately no longer exists. We all moved on to other things.

Hope some folks out there in Nostrville enjoy it.
