I agree, Bitcoin solves money. But there are some interesting experiments happening beyond monetary policy

Love lighting! ⚡️I missspoke, Bitcoin can do some smart contracts, but it’s functionality is more limited
As far as ordinals, still not sure how I feel about them. Find them fascinating, love that the art (as atrocious as some of it may be) is on-chain, but don’t want Bitcoin to get overrun with NFT traders and speculators
I do love the potential of NFTs though. Thought they were stupid until I realized they could be a source of income for artists and musicians, especially those in developing nations. And I also like to collect stuff and they don’t take up space, lol
Appreciate your perspective. Although there are challenges, I don’t believe that should stop people from trying to solve difficult problems.

For me, it’s the way it’s framed. “How to explain Ethereum to new Bitcoiners” seems like a misleading title when all it talks about is monetary policy. I agree that’s a strength of Bitcoin and a weakness of Ethereum. Bitcoin has no competition there. Ethereum’s value lies in it’s smart contract functionality, which isn’t mentioned
I honestly don’t understand why they are compared this way. It’s like comparing apples to oranges imo. They have different use cases

Disagree with this. I think likes are a quick way to show support for a post. And surprisingly enough, even though they are free to give, if you look at the stats on Twitter, people are generally reserved in how often they give them

Totally agree. Love the concept and think there’s so much potential. Just hard to onboard people to it rn. It lacks features that are widely used like Spaces, is not very intuitive, and for me is really buggy
