I love it that on nostr when you stop to look at someone’s note, article, video, etc, it doesn’t automatically benefit them financially by way of views and impressions. If it turns out to be a good post I like, then I can zap it. But if it’s just crap, then why would I want it to benefit them that I paid it a little attention? On other platforms it would help them toward earning ad revenue. But I n nostr, it doesn’t help them at all because as soon as I realize it’s crap, I keep scrolling and give them nothing. 😂🫡

Great way to say it, I don't want someone to benefit just because I gave 5 seconds to read something. One must form an opinion first, then act on it.

Something I'd like to ask ( maybe I missed this point while reading) is, once a physical object has been embowed with some amount of bitcoin through this minting process, it cannot go back to the digital form right? The sats have gone to a burner address during the process, so its a one way street. It cannot be restored back onto chain essentially.

So Fountain.fm raised their limits on how much is minimally required to send satoshis to other lightning wallets. Since I am not mister moneybags now and what is in there is directly correlated to what I earn via zaps from Nostr. This is not really a viable option for me anymore.

I believe some of you deserve zaps for Legendary posts.

What other open source lightning wallets are available that I do not have to have a personal lightning node up and running 24/7, or have to pay monthly fee for the privilege of using?

Something that also allows me to send sub 100 sat zaps?

I'd highly recommend checking out cashu.me, just type that into the web browser . I've sent 10 sats via lightning through that recently. The mint manages the lightning complexities, and you just hold onto super private ecash. Its has nostr wallet connect options too.
