Good Morning.
Red sky at morning, sailor's warning...

JOB ALERT:
I am looking for a new freedom tech lover to join the team at Plebeian.
Some of you may think of Plebeian as a marketplace but thats simply the first app of an infinitely extendable content management system and a circular economic community builder. An anything app if you will.
I am looking for a developer with a demonstrable portfolio of bitcoin/nostr projects, work, commits etc somebody who is known and active in the community. You will have bags of initiative and be willing to take the lead when necessary.
It's just 20 hours a week because I want you to have other projects and time with your family... however, the pay is pretty decent and 100% in bitcoin... speak to the other members of the team.
Please check out the project on Github, it is of course FOSS... https://github.com/PlebeianApp/plebeian.market
If you're up for a video chat please get in touch.
Wishing you the best. Hope you land a good one!
I've been alarmed at their cash pile for a decade. I don't know what it means.
Who wants to help test
https://nostr-run-club.vercel.app/

I'm building a run tracker with the main features so far being:
1. Login with Nostr
2. Track your run
3. Share your run to Nostr
4. View/Zap/Comment Running related posts
The roadmap is
- NIP 60 e-cash wallet
- Wavlake music integration
- Rewards system
Its extremely rough around the edges, but I'll zap good feature requests, issues I'm not aware of (there are plenty) and general ideas about the direction of the app.

I can't run, but I would be up for a similar platform that tracks your outdoor adventure and allows you to share it with others so they can do it too.
It could be a swimming hole, or an undocumented trail, mountaineering route, kayaking adventure...
If you're in that kind of shape and being denied a lyft ride is your biggest concern, then you need a serious wake up call or an intervention.
And make sure you can restore from them!
Learned that the hard way.
Tim Alberino just did an excellent interview with David Paulides from Missing 411.
Don't forget open source blueprints for civilization
Remember OpenSSL, and how the stack had a back door installed for years that was used by the alphabet folks to snoop despite it being open source and peer reviewed endlessly?
Be thankful it's not cocoa:

Strong connection between the uptake of sunscreen and incidents of skin cancer compared to countries where sunscreen isn't widely used.
And non-ionizing radiation effects are very much determined by frequency. Lower frequency EM radiation has a much deeper penetration ability. For example, Wifi penetrates walls but a flashlight does not.
