People complaining about the state of Twitter are a vocal minority that finds itself in an echo chamber. We gotta be realistic about this: politicians, celebrities, large corporations, and regular folks use Twitter on a daily basis like nothing happened and will continue to do so until the ship sinks.
Pun intended, but for them the sunk cost fallacy is strong. Why risk losing what they have by embracing a new platform?
Which is why I’m targeting some normies.
I saw Jack and Odell virtue signalling earlier about no longer supporting Twitter (and judging people who pay for Blue).
Kind sers, that’s where the government officials, Nobel prize economists, Tether truthers & plain normies are.
I can’t subtweet Lagarde on Nostr in a meaningful and impactful way.
I can’t troll Nouriel Roubini, Peter Schiff and Paul Krugman on Nostr.
I can’t explain to shitcoiners why their blockchain of choice is doomed to fail either. Because they’re not interested in decentralization (but might become, if given the proper guidance).
Get off your high horses, echo chambers are dangerous. Of course I think that Nostr is the future of social media and of course I use it every day.
But I’m not limiting the scope of my work to people who already agree with me. I’ll use every tool that I have at my disposal to guide people out of Plato’s cave.
I’ve said it previously and I’ll repeat it: everyone wants mass adoption, but almost nobody wants to deal with the masses. Some folks even judge the people who do.
How much does it cost to attend Bitcoin FilmFest in Warsaw? Co-organizers Tomek and Pierre break down the ticket prices and explain how they’re planning to use the bitcoin.
Will you be there between March 24 and 26? Is there any documentary you look forward to seeing? Leave a comment 👇🏻
If you spent bitcoin on it, you would have done more research before your purchase 😜
ShopInBit is already on the Bitcoin standard – and CEO Lando Rothbardian is noticing the difference in terms of returned items.
A regular retail store like Amazon deals with a product return rate of up to 25% – meaning that buyers send back 1 in 4 purchased items.
On @shopinbit.de, however, the same perfentage for returns is at 1% for bitcoin purchases. This means that bitcoiners think a lot before ordering anything, make high-quality choices and ultimately feel very satisfied about what they bought.
We’re talking about an entirely different culture, where people spend hard money and are very much aware that they should get durable, reliable and high-quality items that they mustn’t buy again anytime soon.
Low-time preference at its finest!

Everyone wants mass adoption,
but almost nobody wants to deal with the masses.
Gm.
Hopefully 😅
It might take a couple of months, though. My wrists are weak, my back gets tired really fast.
October 2022: 20 pullups
March 2023, after feeling sick for a few months: 5 pullups 🙈
Gotta work my way back up, get stronger than ever.
