Price goes up and down, fees go up and down. As a non-technical Bitcoin user, very little has changed over the last couple of years with how I interact with the network, and how frequently I purchase sats.

I love this idea, and agreed it's a great diversion from the noise.

I was desperate, paycheck to paycheck, tired of sitting on the sidelines while it seemed like everyone was making incredible gains on this Bitcoin thing. I had no capital to deploy. I was basically the McDonalds worker meme.

So I started buying shitcoins, because newer tech and better opportunity right? 2 years of hard lessons and curiosity later I was a Bitcoin maxi and exploring radical personal responsibility.

I didn't have exposure to a community or peers until late 2020 when I joined BT, so it was a solo journey up until then.

If, long term, there is a 6102 type event, and the ETF has enjoyed broad success then holders of paper Bitcoin and the institutions that hold the keys become the low hanging fruit.

At the very least it may buy plebs time to assess and consider their options.

Unless you're talking about the sayings for which they're famous - Occam's Razor pulls a lot more weight.

I'll be honest - it doesn't taste as good as that hyper processed fiat trash I've been drinking forever, but that's by design.

If you do make the change, I would give it a few weeks to reacclimate your taste buds. 9 days in and it's starting to taste a lot better.

What a shit take. Being right doesn't matter except to your ego. BT has really gone downhill if this is any indication.

I think smartphones and tablets rewire our brains for dopamine hits... I would be exceedingly cautious about introducing something like that to a child.

That said, it is a really cool gift, in sure he will be thrilled.

'News' is not to inform but to manipulate. ETF will increase demand but market participation is an unknown.

Not even the halving immediately triggers a price spike, it takes time. No one knows anything for sure except the long-term direction.

I agree with you. I'm similar in that I'm limited in what I can directly verify myself. So I listen to the people I respect and make a judgment call. It's the closest to verification that's possible in most situations.

I'm just trying to say that lionizing anyone, no matter how well deserved, can backfire.

I don't think he wants the weight of people's trust. He just wants us to think for ourselves and verify our information.

I respect him and listen when he speaks, but I don't trust him any more than anyone else who I follow on social media.
