Keys, not credos

Tried nostr:nprofile1qqsgwj2rmdtuy3q572yj7y38sxlzr86usjck02merrevurvnn86yqncpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ytnzv9hxgtcctk22m, the UI is great, looks sleek, but the fact that it's filled with shitcoins made me delete it.

I'd be more at ease with it if it only supported #bitcoin and #monero.

Might give it another try.

⚡️🗣️ Can you make a living on Nostr? Here's my feedback:

In 101 days of activity, I received 624,193 satoshis - a huge thank you to everyone!

This represents an average of around 6,180 sats per day, or about $4.50/day, for 7 to 8 hours of daily work.

🔹 My opinion - I think it's possible to make a living from Nostr, but you have to be realistic: it's very hard to get started. Building an audience takes time, consistency and commitment.

I should also point out that my average is skewed by several major donations (notably from nostr:nprofile1qqsf03c2gsmx5ef4c9zmxvlew04gdh7u94afnknp33qvv3c94kvwxgsppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj73yn3f8 nostr:nprofile1qqs04yxqjhrweg0a8qfmav70kp2gxm86y97ef8ff4zf66gzjxy379tqpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumt0wd68ytnsw43qzxnhwden5te0wfjkccte9ehhyctwvajhq6tvdshxgetkk4vdh3 nostr:nprofile1qqsg8lg8m6dhvve5ejw5dunctsj43ekza2l705xxass5ve7t4mzs63cpz4mhxue69uhkg6t5w3hjuur4vghhyetvv9uszxnhwden5te0wfjkccte9ehx7um5wf6xzmrt9ehhyee0s639rj , to whom I extend my warmest thanks), which have greatly increased the daily average.

In reality, I'm averaging around 1,000 to 2,000 sats/day in normal times, or about $0.73 to $1.46/day, which remains modest for the moment.

But I'm still hopeful, because I feel the potential is there, especially if the ecosystem continues to develop.

🔹 My middle-term goal: 0.1 btc would be incredible

🔹 My long-term goal: 1 btc, I literally stop working and devote myself exclusively to my activity on Nostr.

I've been transparent with you from the start, and I'll continue to be. Thanks again to all of you, and let's continue to make Nostr attractive.

You got all it takes, never stop.

Don't you think such mining pools would go bankrupt? After all it's a pool, if reputation is damaged and folks join other more honest pools, then they are left with nothing.

Opportunity cost for the attackers is greater with bitcoin, as this is not pools that are attackers but certain clique of individuals and they do not make up all the pool.

Very nuanced this is; one can't extrapolate one way with such minimal analysis of attack verctors.

How the fuck can they track utxos when folks don't reuse addresses and don't give up their wallet json to randos?
