Agreed. It’s the first time I’ve been excited about coding in a long time.
What … ?!? Explain it in a simple user story. I might be able to understand it
one thing I'm learning about the #NostrDM feature. There's no way to delete a message once it's sent.
In my core usecase of Login & DM notifications ... it doesn't take long while I'm Dev'ing to really polute my DMs from my various test app accounts.
UGH ... #weAreSoEarly #value4value #keepGoing #YouGotThis
This is interesting … I’m expecting a #communityNotes relay on Nostr sooner rather than later
nostr:note12gy3lv50saxmf20c0u29yv5lv6wmsv6mrtdk8fttd8t50lpqwtms2m5ern
To add to that. … the #value4value mindset really is a quiet rebellion supported by code
#Grok’s summary was really useful

IMHO … It’s all the settings screens & interactions around a post that can REALLY eat up the dev cycles.
The features of those platforms are pretty much cast. … nostr has no boundaries & will disrupt everything transported into it.
Yes … same. The future is very exciting
Great news folks! Your nostr:npub1kmwdmhuxvafg05dyap3qmy42jpwztrv9p0uvey3a8803ahlwtmnsnhxqk9 projects can now use NWC wallets: nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm Hub (eg. on nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct or nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll), nostr:npub1pzerv8rqqvhk82y85axa3t3yxr8rdqnea03zlmk5crsne509esqqw0x463, nostr:npub1h2qfjpnxau9k7ja9qkf50043xfpfy8j5v60xsqryef64y44puwnq28w8ch, nostr:npub10efcj7x65z2ak6vd69xr8f2hvqwuaqrhlygl3yqa4y63hfvc02mqwzaeh3 and nostr:npub1kvaln6tm0re4d99q9e4ma788wpvnw0jzkz595cljtfgwhldd75xsj9tkzv!

thank you ... and with that bit of a prompting ... guess it's easy enough to kick off this new project ... might as well give it a go.
#thankYou for all the dev work ... the platform onboarding was great
Bluesky is currently gaining more than 1M users a day
https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=42159713
>> As someone who never used Twitter, I made a Bluesy account and it was okay. I learned that I have no idea how to engage with that style of social media.
One thing that put me off is how so much of what I saw was just talking about Bluesky vs Twitter. I hope they can move past that.
> Lol, I got curious about nostr, and it's the same thing, with an extra layer of "crypto currency will save the worl
----
Are we early?
Very early !!! ... Open protocols with encryption always win over closed networks. it just takes time for enough ppl to find that usecase and come over to it.
... wait till we have bots surfing our content and finding the most open noisy network to make bot to bot requests on. #Nostr is the right platform.
... we'll build apps and platforms on it ... for now it's just noisy crypto chat. But its got no guard rails ... so someone will build that thing everyone will flock to
this all reminds me of the earliest days of building on any blockchain like network ... without a #cryptoKitties viral moment. It's going to be a lot of quiet building ...
That said ... I am convinced #Nostr is THE platform to be building on. And I'm elbows deep in building an app & think theres no second best.
#nostrKey management is frustrating sometimes. Depending on the device, app vs browser ... nPub vs nSec key ...
... just to check my DMs ... this is gonna be a problem.
Ha. Yah. Apparently it was June 13th this year … so just over 5 months … although the more money you make the later into the year it goes.
@BTCsessions might have some jokes to share about it
last week this was an idea... this week it's working in locahost. next week hoping to have it working. Nostr-DM magic links for the win!
... THEN I can finally start working on my app idea #nostrDev #startupLife

Nostr is verifiable data.
Sign code into Nostr events, and you get Verifiable Code.
But here’s the problem: you still have to trust the environment running that Verifiable Code. If you rely on a third-party machine, how can you guarantee it’s executing your code as intended and not something entirely different?
Enter Verifiable Computations. Runners take verifiable data + verifiable code, execute them, and return the results + a cryptographic proof that nothing was changed.
Now, recipients can verify if the script ran exactly as intended, making runners trustless partners.
Welcome to verifiable, trustless DVMs on Nostr.

Holy smokes !!! YES !!! … I am so into this feature … count me in as an advocate & fan … I wanna build a feature with this function 100%
… this could be a whole Chatroulette theme.
I think in the near future we’ll have personal LLM AI Agents pulling from the streams the content we’ll want or using the algorithm plugins hosted by LLMs …
So this makes sense that there’d be some sort of traceability.
For all those on the path … we’re in this together.
wow ... i checked ... this has been reported
