Were DMs a mistake simply because of privacy concerns?
Studying Bitcoin prior to taking a majority of my finance/economics classes in college has added quite a bit of frustration to my life.
Fiat money results in a convoluted financial system, while Bitcoin offers simplicity.
I suppose it's important to learn in depth about what exactly I am running away from.

I may never have realized what I was doing wrong.
I don't see public/private keys as a hurdle for Nostr adoption.
We often say that people buy bitcoin at the price they deserve. I think that same ethos applies to Nostr.
Using an extension is not hard, it's just different. Protecting a seed phrase is not hard, it's different.
Users who appreciate Nostr and see the vision will rise to the occasion.
