on the one hand, its insane to think of my normie friends taking on using lightning sovereignly or other parts of freedom tech.

on the other hand, im a pretty big fucking idiot that can barely fuck with command line and im now running my own node, running two lightning nodes, got self sovereign zapping send/receive running, and am mining with my own node and home miners using DATUM to construct my block template. also running graphene OS on a degoogled phone, and taking more and more control of the software me and family run. just small steps everyday will get you incredibly far over the course of a year or so.

freedom tech aint possible for everyone, but using it is possible for a fuck ton more people than currently are usibg it. very bullish on self-hosting software as the future...whether thats your money, your relays, your photos, contacts, passwords, etc etc 🤙

if i turn off, i successfully am just using usernames without the btc address. however, is that it or is there more to it? in a world where i could expose my datum server to other miners outside my local network, could they mine via my datum server and get paid their rewards to their own btc address with this toggle turned off?
