in my experience the bitaxe reports inaccurately in the 60 sec and 10 mins ranges. run it for like a day and watch the 3 hr average, it should be accurate. i heard this reporting is due to the low hash power of the bitaxe but does not mean you are missing out on rewards.

imagining a sustainable model for image upload and hosting:

imagine i am a user of #amethyst . i have nwc all set up and working. lets say i also have nostr.build as my media server. imagine when i clicked to upload an image, nostr.build requested a zap of the amount it will charge to host that data ( could factor in size, file type, etc). i pay the zap ( or perhaps can set in amethyst to auto lay media,uploads), and my image is now hosted under my npub in nostr.build. then, if nostr.build created a custom dvm, i could run a dvm for all my images. i never leave the client.

in this manner media uploading is paid per usage based on the market rate at the time instead of charging subscriptions that attempt to capture future costs as well. you could even meld the two ( pay per upload vs. subscription) if necesary. interesting to imagine...
