CosaNostr onboarding starting to look like 'something'. Trying to make this as SIMPLE as possible. Add name, add picture, create keys, and some check that user actually saved them somewhere.

Then throw them in global and let them have fun 😅

Specifically tailored towards devs who know nothing about Nostr, yes. Just getting a note on screen, then how to fetch a profile, how to make reactions possible, like simple progression stuff. The docs are really concise and not enough for a simple hobbyist like me.

Mostly UI changes, 'profile' is going to be left, global feed in the middle (personal feed not ready yet!) and 'options' on the right. Navigationbar and swiping both work.

There's a pull to refresh, you can generate new keys or jump in with your private key.

Very, very alpha, but this protocol got me very excited about building something cool 😎

You have a point on the deletion part, that's when they go full Nostr. New keys, new 'identity'. Purplepilled. But the very first step is just them signing in how they know it works and have a look around. Get 'those' people in, you know what people I am talking about, the ones that don't even care about bitcoin or decentralization or what even the problem is now. After a while, they just might change their mind.

We do not disagree at all, I'm just putting in my two cents on how to onboard a great deal of people that have zero interest in safety, security, transparency and/or sovereignty.

Someone just showed me a great onboarding system, I'm looking into that as well. Just afraid that Nostr will be stuck on bitcoinheads and wacky porn for a long time without more mainstream people.
