Maybe but as a core nostr person followers are more likely to go thru the effort. I am a humble nondescript pleb; wouldn't expect my followers to notice the request to change, or to cut over. i'm hanging on to my 32-bit PoW key until there is an auto-transition mech in clients

I donā€™t know enough about the method, but is there a chance a duplicate key could be generated and used by someone else while youā€™re holding onto it? Seems astronomically unlikely but something Iā€™ve wondered.

When youā€™ve successfully mined a pow32, can you reassociate your profile to the new pow32, or is the pub/private key pair itself your identity? (So i would just start over with the new private key?)
