Disable ai detection for people you follow, but when you click to unblur the image for people you don’t follow, we can spend some compute to detect it. We wouldn’t have to do it for every image.

If you want to go further, Just don't show blurs. Show blank with centered text "Non-following user media. Tap to open." or similar.

I don’t think it’s a misstep. It gives the most power to users. Clients will continue to improve and will continually innovate on new ways to block this stuff instead of relying on centralized third parties for moderation which has been a distaster

i pay $1000/year for #xapo account... i think i prefer the sting in the start than in the end... the governments and the banking cartels leavy heavy, inflated monopoly prices on banks that dare to dabble in bitcoin, so it costs more, but i think thtis is always how it is at the beginning of a new industry, the new tech always is more expensive, but i think that before it was mostly just one rug after another (wirex, binance) but xapo has been legit for me the two years i've been subscribed to them

It’s really nothing groundbreaking. 2% isn’t much. I roll my 2-3% reward card to bitcoin anyway. Plus you need fold + for the 2% (membership fee). I can appreciate the idea though.
