The AI space is getting more interesting. By opensourcing (for non commercial use) the LLaMA Meta surprised Google and Openai who wanted their LLM to be closed and proprietary.

This lead Sam to calling open source models might lead to uncontrolled LLM (citing safety limits, etc.,)
While it is really worrying I dont see how controlled systems are trained in a closed source model.
IIRC, Sam also mentioned in his previous interviews, In the future he thinks there will 3 or 4 companies that will be the center (they will own the LLM), and there will be tier 2 companies that feed information from these companies.
If opensource model succeeds then his dream will be shattered
Meanwhile openai also released an App today to compete with Google and that collects a lot of information
Day in day out the AI space gets exciting!

hey #nostr folks what is the best way to get started here?
Educating about decentralization is even harder. We need to make it easier for folks to experience it!
I like the idea! It would be really nice to have a getting started guide on #nostr
Good Morning #nostr
Hope you all have an amazing week ahead!

curious question: if we stop creating contents (original thoughts/research) then will the AI become stupid? 🤔🤔🤔#chatGPT #AI #Bard
sourcegraph might help
