Makes me think of Ubuntu Unity. I wish that vision became a reality. A secure, open source OS on a phone that is adaptable to other form factors. That would be amazing!

Ya, I just read a story where one of the biggest banks in Italy is now looking to adopt offering Bitcoin as an investment for wealthy clients. This from a country who tried to increase capital gains tax on Bitcoin to 42% a few months prior. What a joke!
What we need is Bitcoin friendly legislation not these old dogs trying to fit it into their existing rules.

The problem is that centralized freedom of speech can be blocked when we need it the most. This is why #nostr is needed and decentralized solutions in general.
I watched the Trudeau resignation speech and am impressed with how he handled it with class. As a leader for so long, it is likely that leaving will be surrounded by negativity. He kept his head up high and focused on Canada’s future. The announced transition will be competitive and will lead to a fair election. There isn’t much more you can ask for.
In a very dark hour, it made me feel proud to be Canadian. 🇨🇦
