Right!? Wht gets me is the “we can’t give you any more information other than it is closed for good; this is for our safety”. Ok cool…but what about me, the customers, safety? Like is this a potential threat to MY financial safety? I’d say it is by default but I guess I’ll just have to live with that nebulous threat…forever 🤷
Do you remember LvL? I had a similar issue with LvL but after their “pause” they reopened my account….then closed down as a company maybe 2 months later

Ok. So my friends list (still small compared to what it was with my original -GC- account) is growing slowly and so is the value I gain from using Nostr.
Unfortunately; Twitter still has a greater volume of news and information that elevates my interaction with the day and world around me.
I want nostr to gain that level of value; what can I do to be proactive in reaching that goal?

They completely shutdown and blocked my account; this happened when I asked to withdraw my rewards. They told me I would not be given any reason for my account being closed. And that was it. I was a diehard Fold fan…but I was a fool to trust em’. Oh well 🤷

Ok…y’all guna laugh at me, maybe even spit up whatever liquids in your mouth; it’s cool.
But I just, as in just now, sat back and realized I didn’t have to look at using Nostr as anything other than what it is.
It’s not a honey pot, it’s not a money grab, there’s no glossy frontend with a mob of data-harvesting manipulators cyber-nudging us constantly one personalized data point at a time.
I don’t have to worry about those people who ARE voted in, hiring and appointing people, we don’t vote for, to track, spy, extrapolate, improvise, image, fictionalize, sensationalize, fantasize, and ultimately blow their massive appropriated, over-funded, influence all over me or anyone I care about smart enough to use this new social media iteration.

Well; I seem to be running my own relay now. Anyone one else contributing the robustness? I love Nester but just like Twitter, regardless of “followers” engagement is so low for me. I get that I’m not that engaging but man it gets chilly sometimes. Anyway, hope someones somewheres is enjoying things. That’s our greatest weapon we have against the dark and terrible manufactured suck. Its always trying to suck and it’ll continue to do so as long as the incentive structure continues to encourage to dark side of commerce and money.
I often feel ive given up when it comes to “preaching” the Bitcoin gospel; Lord knows there’s no surplus of meat space tennants falling over themselves to learn. Then again I don’t see them on the interspace-cyberweb either…I think this is what I mean when referencing the cold, stagnant, lack of engagement.
