I hate to be the bearer of even worse news, but today, a typical self-custody bitcoiners day will include

Slapping on sunscreen, donning sunglasses, counting steps, , checking t facebook feeds, swiping loyalty cards for a .5% discount and eating a delicious low-cholesterol ready-made pizza.

We have a problem, and bitcoin will not "fix this".

I think the masses will remain under the control of their overlords. They actually seem to prefer the arrangement. It’ll end up: UBI, uni-party but vote harder, pod-life where they’re comfortably numb on instagram and sweet treats and SSRI’s. Fully neutered slaves that are convinced they’re not.

But agreed, small sovereign communities are the correct way to start the trend. We can all learn from each other’s successes and failures and gain strength while we wait for larger opportunities to present themselves. I have my eyes on the prize.
