QUESTION: What would you say in one or two sentences to get people curious to learn more about Bitcoin?

Context: I've been teaching thousands of women about Money, Finances and Investing since 2010.

In 2013 I was a Bitcoin Skeptic.

In 2017 I watched with extreme caution.

In 2021 I did some real learning and started buying and then fell down the Rabbit Hole.

By end 2022 despite the Bear 🐻 I became a Bitcoin Maxi.

In July 2022 I ran my first Bitcoin Specific Masterclass (it was $45) - I had 86 people join.

I was surprised it wasn't over 150 or 200.

In November 2023 I ran a second one ($45) and I had 41 people join.

Whaaaat? I couldn't understand people's resistance.

I was astounded by the low sign-ups especially in 2023.

I'm now running another one next week... and it looks like the sign ups are flowing

and I'd love your feedback on what will SPARK 🔥 people's curiosity, to learn more.

And WOW thank you Nostr for giving me such a WARM Welcome… with Hearts, Comments and Zaps.

The welcome made me feel like I’m in a room with friends and allies.

I was particularly inspired by nostr:npub1hz5alqscpp8yjrvgsdp2n4ygkl8slvstrgvmjca7e45w6644ew7sewtysa bubbling enthusiasm about making Nostr work and her passion and purpose to “get it out to the world”.

I was so BUZZED by Nostr as I walked around the Amsterdam streets after the conference…

…(it felt reminiscent of working in San Francisco in ’98 and ’99 when everyone was so amped about the internet)…

… that I made a commitment to myself to commit to Nostr wholeheartedly.

And then…. Left Amsterdam… Returned home to my husband and kids… and work…

And now it is almost 2 weeks later and what happened to my Nostr passion?

F%^k, I hate it when life gets in the way of me acting on my highest excitement!

The passion is still here. I promise.

And I have promised myself I’ll do 20 minutes a day on Nostr, to post, connect and also figure out how to get my Guided Meditations on here as a first start.

So here’s my #AskNostr I have Free Guided Meditations (for Manifesting + Money + Magic) that are in a regular rhythm of being posted to YouTube and Podcast Channels every week. And I’d love to post them here too.

1. How? I see someone posting things with Fountain…. What is Fountain? Is that how I can make it work?

2. Any other ideas for the Meditations - please let me know.

3. Any other tips and tricks about Nostr - would be MUCH appreciated.

yes... for sure more women. Was just at the Bitcoin Amsterdam conference and I kept saying to people "where are the women?"....

do you have any ideas or guesses why they aren't here? #curious

I'm inspired to actually be a key driver of shift in this area and create more adoption amongst women.

Hey there 👋 I'm Donna, a newbie to Nostr.

I'm super curious about Nostr because since 2005 I've been teaching women worldwide about Manifesting + Money + Magic.

So I'm an educator/ teacher/ coach/ guide and a content creator with the pain of having to do the "Algorithm Monkey Dance" on Social Media to reach my students and followers.

Which in 2018, I basically stopped doing because it was exhausting and felt inauthentic. And I focused 99% of my energy on my email database because "I own those connections".

Although many of the communities connected to my online programs still run on Facebook.

And so the "Nostr use case" made quick and easy sense to me. And the added incentive of Sats through Zaps... yipppeeee!

Except, of course... my students, followers and audience are not on Nostr yet.

Ah... the Catch 22... the Chicken and Egg of Nostr.

So here I am, ready to contribute anyway and put my content up here anyway... because this feels like the right place to be building. (And because I lurve being a pioneer)...

And I'll probably need help... so would love your feedback and help please.

And also suggestions on the best and easiest way to contribute. Thanks!
