I volunteered for Table Topics* during my first visit to a Toastmasters club, and immediately realized it was the best use of my time to get comfortable being uncomfortable while speaking in front of strangers.
*A section of a Toastmasters club meeting where you have 1-2 minutes to extemporaneously answer a surprise question.

I never met my great-grandparents. They all died before I was born.
However, my Mom and Dad , me, my daughter, and my grandson are all alive. This window won’t last forever, and it’s cool to have 4 generations currently alive.
