IPFS is a network where you can share files. Each file is stored as its hash and can be requested f.e. from HTTP gateways

Isn't the weak point here not Nostr itself, but image hosting services? What's to stop these pictures from just disappearing because sovbit.host is shut down or forced to remove them?
