I feel like the term “digital gold” eludes to what #gold may have become had it been digitized but most people think of it in terms of the current state of gold.

Maybe it’s obvious but I’ve always wondered what the main benefit/use case is.

Thought experiment:

If #bitcoin continues growing exponentially, we’ll have more and more bitcoiners, aligned on some core principles and values, with ample “fuck you money”.

How will this impact and steer society?

With the separation of money and state, I foresee many positive ideas and things being cultivated and many negative ones being stamped out.
