#Ethereum
#Monero
they probably fear monero because it's taking the place, already done on darknet, it will eventually be on clearnet, especially because of CBDC. Bitcoiners don't understand Monero is not an ennemy, I hope Bitcoin will improve in privacy
corporations interest is far different from people interest. They want money, we want freedom, the fight is on, Monero take the lead, 1 cpu 1 vote
Honestly, it's sad, how Bitcoin was hijacked I want cry
When I see that, I'm happy to not have Bitcoin at all, the network is already captured and censorship compliant, bitcoiners, be ready for the OFAC list
That mean the vast majority of LN nodes are hosted by cloud corporations and not self hosted by individuals, it's catastrophic for decentralization, LN is largely centralized...
If FIAT currency (USD/EUR...) wasn't be created, there was no need to create crypto currency.
Gold / Silver is the ultimate money, can't be cheated
I see what you mean, FIAT was created by governments during the history, but not only, for example in WW2, in some ghettos a FIAT currency was created by ghettos authorities. In the strict sens, you have right, any community can create a FIAT currency by decree, but it's not the general concept of FIAT currency, we are talking about a nation's government not the GNOME foundation or random civilians
you forget 1 word: "government"
Fiat is "government-issued" not simply "issued" (by anyone) that means it's from the people who control the country, I understand what you are trying to tell, but Fiat can't be issued by random people, it should be included in the country's jurisdiction and approved by the president etc etc that's a huge difference
Monero is stronger 💪

L2 is a mess, because of that, a new crypto is created, not the same on L1
BTCLN is like the $ unpegged to Gold, but with BTC
Soon, it will go printer money brrr on LN

Monero is not Fiat
"Fiat money is a government-issued currency that's not backed by a physical commodity such as gold or silver. It's backed by the government that issues it." Investopedia
