A concrescence of Mind fumbling with the controls of this meat chariot. Nostr onl

He's interesting, but I strongly suspect he's had some kind of training in manipulation. I'm not saying he's wrong - especially on what he says about sunlight being good for fighting cancer - that feels right, but my Spidey Sense goes off nonetheless. To summarize the training I think he's received : there's a trick that scammers use to isolate victims while speaking to a crowd (it has a name, but I forgot it), which is that you start off reasonable and affable, but slowly add in details that wouldn't have sounded reasonable when you started. As you keep doing this, the smarter people drift off and the stupid people self select for you. Or him, not you. English... Anyways. Worth checking out, but be prepared.

Yes... I've followed that thread... Its disturbing. The actual ideology of socialism is purely religious. They took the Greek idea of "nous" and applied it to the society as a whole and took the Jewish idea of the fall from grace, with the kabbalistic interpretation that the fall is a shattering of God's unity, and invented a religion of restoring God as a euphoric collective mass of humanity - in one word, socialism. Now they pretend to secularism and pretend that economics is secular. But they are still 100℅ engaged in economics in the spiritual (original) sense - economia in greek. But that means they are intentionally doing evil for spiritual reasons... Which makes them satanic, literally. I simplified it, obviously, but I encourage anyone to follow this thread, but be warned that it is a dark dark darrrrk hole.

How do I learn more about it? I can google it if there's nothing specific I should look up.

Unfortunately I'm not techy enough to know these terms. All I really know is the economics, and whatever the influencers tell us about, which is usually pretty basic even for me.

How would we get privacy at the base layer? Is it worth risking inflation that we can't see, or can it be done without that risk? And what about the utxo set bloat - I mean, I get that lightning reduces utxo bloat, but that's not a permanent fix, it will still get unmanageably bloated. Would love to hear some real ideas, and not just more influencer hand waving.

First they'll find out they can't withdraw in any meaningful amounts, then it'll get 6102'd, and then we'll tell them we told them so.

I have specialized knowledge. Calculus 2, statistics, then econometrics, and then i taught. I can read the data. And having this specialization, I can tell you : you don't need it. Anyone can figure it out of they just try. But since you think credentials matter, I have plenty.

You've made some silly assumptions.

I get that impression too. But there's a chance... His mind will change, its only a matter of how much suffering has to happen first.

You don't think self reflection is a good habit? Oh yeah, English. Look up "self reflection." Its a phrase, so maybe a direct translation doesn't give the full meaning.

That's what I thought a few years ago. I used to be you. I learned the hard way. If you're smart, you will abandon this dangerous nonsense and benefit from people who have learned the hard way. We're not conspiracy theorists. We're survivors - meaning, we survived something that hopefully you won't have to go through.

Ah, that explains it. In that case, I can understand. I've travelled a bit. Something I noticed was, people in other countries are only exposed to leftist media. They don't even know its leftist - its just normal to them. What I mean by leftist is, the big corporations fund propaganda and pretend to moralistic stances on social issues, while what they're really doing is stealing money from governments and selling poison to people. And leftists never notice because they are much more susceptible to advertising than people on the right or non-aligned. Culture seems to spread out from the US, but corporate leftist culture spreads first. So you probably don't even have all the information regarding covid in your language. Sorry if this hurts - its just something you'll need to try to balance out.

Ironic. Doubly ironic, considering what you just said about assumptions.

Self reflection is a good habit.

Pattern recognition is more reliable than a strict rule of making no assumptions. You're right, in certain contexts. But how you recognize those contexts is pattern recognition. If it all comes back to pattern recognition anyways, then just use the pattern recognition.
