π§π Sending #Bitcoin by email is currently limited to users who have added and confirmed their email address at { walletano.com/wallet }.

π‘ Should we consider enabling this feature for everyone, irrespective of whether they have added their email address or not? π€
The limit here is the length of the text message. We need to have a message that informs the receiver and include a link that is long enough so it can not be easily brute forced.
On another note, maybe we should allow to send to email without the sender having a linked email address. This way, you could send SATs by email to anybody and can decide to add as a message any data that you want. So, you can add an email address as comment to receiver or remain fully anonymous.
Because we need to notify the receiver who sent them the SATs. We could also add your Lightning β‘ Address to the email we send out to receiver but it might be confusing for them, considering he / she is a total newbie.
Yeah... We kept this quite a secret... π
The recovery process is long to protect your funds. You can always use the Link Device function on Settings to use your wallet on any other device.
But if you lose access to the wallet there is a 30 days waiting time.
No, you can actually send to any Lightning β‘ Address. Try it out, it will work.

The send to email functionality is only present if you confirmed your e-mail address.
Go to settings, add your e-mail address, confirm it and the Send to Email button will show up.
