The Bakers Dozen! Can Bitcoin bring #Phish to want to top themselves yet again?

Yes. Pushing back on the influencer class controlling the narrative is hardly the act of a sheep but I also go on mic and explain myself and hold myself accountable to those listening.

It’s not about avoiding being a sheep, which is another version of being a sheep. It’s about having your own voice and expressing it publicly - even if it’s what all the cool kids happen to be saying

YOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Congrats Bro! Don’t let her cut into your 40HPW though.

Ep65 - Monero & Chill

Bitcoin is more clearly defined than math. The protocol isn’t special. It’s what it means to humans that make it special.

It’s a mistake to make it more than it is.

It’s also mistake to underestimate and minimize it. Nobody knows dick about what this means to humans of what it should and should not.

My daughter is in Classical Analysis right now. Thinks of everything in terms of Cauchy and Lipschitz.

I don’t expect that to mean anything but it IS a world and it tells me that there’s more to life than algebra. Analysis is a way of thinking but it’s a LONG rabbit hole.

I feel like I’d have had to have given them a lot of American cola for them to notice the difference - and was unwilling to do that.

That is a great analogy.

They have been trying to discretize vocals for decades with autotune and tools like that.

Guitar is said to be the most expressive instrument because of its ability to reach a “complete system of notes” as opposed to piano which only reaches 11 integers in an equivalence class of octaves (remarkable how beautiful the piano still is even with its limited range of outputs)

The continuous side of the piano is in its dynamics - the ability to control the volume from very soft to very loud. Guitar players struggle to find the same range with the same ability as on the piano.

Continuity in music is what makes it human. It’s the errors in notes, or the rests on the beats. It’s cliche and every college kid will say this with wonder but it’s incredible true.

I’ve convinced myself that US and China are in cahoots.

An increase in bond yields will expose broke-ass financial systems that have lived under the rug of QE for a long time.

Imagine this:

The US was incapable of raising those yields by themselves. They needed some big bag holders to cooperate.

They created a phony trade war with China to do the deed. But why? Who would China and the US cooperate against to expose their broke-ass-ness and leave buried in the jail of bankruptcy while the 2 powers build the new order?

Any guesses?
