I think you still have the power to turn it around, but it’s a slim outside chance now. You have the least docile, domesticated population (still not great though). There is still a strong spirit of innovation, it’s just been misdirected by fiat. You would need the right political figure to claw their way into power and just act like a rational human being. Yes could be. Today we have archival + discovery + antispam all jumbled up in the same relay services. I guess over time the market evolves to some specialists in long term storage (different duration options? Just your own home relay?), some in discovery (we will host anyone for 20 sats but delete after 1 week) etc
