I just wanted to have a place to point local people I talk to that need technical help with achieving self custody the right way. I haven’t met anyone up here that has even taken the first step. And being in oil country there’s definitely some opportunities to advance mining in a grid friendly way.

Here’s a start. This and a local forum site aimed at creating a local trade network for ranchers, food producers, tradespeople and other skilled people in the area. Recently pointed out to my boss that I’m effectively being paid 25-30% less than I was when I started building the systems his growing business runs on 4 years ago. I think I’m the only person working here that understands that. He rewarded me with a whopping 2.9%. It’s a fucking insult. All while I see him making massive capital purchases. I either need a lobotomy or to build something of my own. It’s in the works. (Not the lobotomy lol)

“What is the comparative cost in human lives, human energy, environmental damage and energy usage of unlimited war-fighting and unlimited taxation through inflation?”

“What is the comparative daily energy cost of all non national-defence-oriented military activities and all non voluntary taxation worldwide?”

I want to earn Bitcoin every time I interface with a Microsoft, Apple or Google product at my well paying but increasingly meaningless fiat job.

Sounds like a chapter out of my young days. What I want to know is why is 50hrs the new 40. That 10 hours per week is a big deal.
