Usually that's what happens when a company receives too much help from the State and true competition becomes irrelevant to it.
Some users don't want to be told what to do and bail out.
Relays should be a transparent thing for new users. They shouldn't need to know they exist. This approach is kind of too cold, I think.
It impacts the user experience though. There are some relays I don't want to interact with. Maybe I want to interact only with my own relay. This is kind of pushy.
AI is not artificial (it's 100% based on human input) and is not intelligence (it's 100% mechanic, no real discernment).
Machine Learning is alright as a term, but when it comes to applications names become inaccurate because of hype.
One of the best applications I find for these chat bots like ChatGPT is documentation.
I always struggled with documentation - nobody wants to write it, and nobody uses it.
I see "AI" chat bots as "interactive documentation". That's a more accurate term, but not nearly as hypey.
"What time is it?"
"It is Craig-is-not-Satoshi o'clock!"
Oh, there is an option in "Advanced options" to start from scratch, in case you want to erase your current list before starting to build your new list of followed people.
Then you begin "copying" the followed people of other users that you consider aligned with your preferences.
For example, if you put my npub (nostr public key) on follows.lol and hit enter, you will begin following a lot of developers and people that post interesting stuff. At least interesting to me.
Or maybe you want to follow everyone that is followed by Peter McCormack, for example? Enter his npub and hit enter!
Yesterday I used it to follow all the participants on the #casine hashtag (it supports hashtags too).
You may find hashtags where interesting people with common interests gather around.
With follows.lol you can follow them all at once.
To me, however, the perfect follow tool should include a purge option. That's the only thing that it is missing at the moment.
And I may work on adding that feature, if funding continues to flow. We'll see!
You can build your timeline, from zero if necessary, by following more people that are interesting.
It's like a mass follow button.
https://follows.lol just updated.
Now you can also follow people that participate in any particular hashtag.

nostr:npub19p3l898yf76s73m5pr0ru03a0y8ps6c3se6xcekz8d8v2f676kxs5vwdmw take a look at this idea, I think we discussed this already, could be worth implementing.
That is an interesting idea.
I work on https://follows.lol
This instance is on the latest version: https://nostrdev.codeberg.page/follows-web/
I don't think so. It is more polite, that's all. Less rage-baiting.
And interview on "Bitcoin And..." would be great.
Congratulations, sir. πΎ

I submitted an application to Opensats. There is no other way but to give people what they want, what they consume.
You're pasting too hard. Too much energy. πͺ
