Everyone, and I mean e v e r y o n e should read #[0]’s piece on Structural Adjustment, IMF and World Bank in Bitcoin Magazine. Even though you will not feel better afterwards.

**NOSTRGRAM UPDATE - THE END OF NOTIFICATIONS HELL**
By default, NostrGram now filters your notifications to only show notifications where the person reacted directly to a note created by you, replied directly to a note created by you, or tagged you in the note content. This means that the massive numbers of notifications that have nothing to do with you (e.g from "hell threads") will not be shown in your notifications.
If you love notification spam because it makes you feel special and loved, by all means disable "Show direct notifications only" in Settings (⚙️). But for the rest of you sane folk, this should help you out a lot.
As always, your ⚡ is what makes NostrGram possible, so 🙏 in advance, and thank you for using NostrGram!

My prayers have been answered. Thank you.
If the free market is wrong, it is not for long. Free market plus time is a delusion correction machine.
Bitcoin. Unbanking the banked since 2009.
Chancellor on brink of the same trouble again.
Credit issuance is the fiat world mining. FED’s interest rate hiking is the difficulty adjustment.
Relieved to learn that #fiat #ordinals actually exist. Another good news is that they do not seem to pose a great threat to the fiat world.

Thinking through genuine (sic!) complexity (a.k.a. intellectual proof-of-work) is valuable by definition. What I meant earlier is that (stupid or not) people tend to fall for pseudo-intellectual complexity that often disguises ignorance.
Yep. Thinking through genuine complexity is a definition of intellectual work. It is a proof of work endeavor 😊.
Overcomplicating may be a way to disguise ignorance. But genuine complexity rarely appeals to stupid people.
Understanding the #blockchain is not yet understanding #Bitcoin, not even close. Still, it is a necessary piece of the puzzle.
Below is, arguably, the best explanation of #blockchain technology for noobs that I have ever encountered.
Get your tickets, folks.
#bitcoinfilmfest #[0]
Countries will create their #CBDCs on some controllable #PoS (?) type of blockchains but may want/need to back them with #PoW (#trustless, #permissionless) #blockchain, probably #Bitcoin, to be used in settlements among them.
Just a guess but I would bet some sats on it.
'Mute this Thread' button, please.
#MuteThisThread #nostrgram #iris #snort #damus

We seem to need a button for muting unwanted conversations/threads without necessarily blocking/muting users.
Bitcoin’s power is not just that it transmits value in cyberspace. The game changer is that even mortal enemies can do so and Bitcoin will not discriminate in favour or against any of them.
Run a full node and enjoy the superpower of verifying the entire Bitcoin history.
If your money is programmable at the user level, you live in a dystopia.
